The skirt is a diagonal design, which fits the appearance of natural feathers.
Since nylon is a synthetic material, it cannot create the same shot consistency as a feathered bird (which is typically made from duck and goose feathers). The hitting feeling, speed and angle when using a nylon bird is not comparable to that of a feathered bird. However, the KL307 has an improved skirt structure and increased circumference, fixing many traditional nylon birds’ weaknesses.
During the hitting moment, the player will feel the bird is light and smooth. This helps the players’ enjoyment of the sport.
Because of the improved structure, the shuttle regains its shape very quickly after it is hit, increasing the players’ directional control.
In regards to the sound produced when hitting the shuttlecock, the KL307 has a crisper sound, providing a more enjoyable experience.
Average nylon shuttles’ weakness lies in its inability to retain its shape under high pressures (such as during a smash). This causes the shuttle to increase in speed too much, resulting in misjudgment and frustration for both players. Our KL307 fixes this problem, allowing speeds during smashes to be more consistent, and closer to the feeling of a feathered shuttlecock.
The KL307 has improved aerodynamics, helping it emulate the spin and landing of a feathered shuttle.
